(Prayer for a Better World)

This song came through after a 10 year complete hiatus from writing music. I had just been expelled from an abusive situation and was learning to breathe on my own again, and the original song came through at 9 minutes long – a mashup with “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” (I had never noticed what a heartbreaking song that is).

I dedicate this to every person who’s been caught and silenced by any kind of abusive relationship, with a deep bow to the strength and courage it takes to leave and find your voice again.
