What a beautiful evening our first Summer Drop In was tonight! We sang 7 songs –

  • Ole O (Ghana)
  • Trust in the Magic of the Mystery (by Karly Loveling, Eugene OR)
  • I Am Me (Paul Barton)
  • Bambelela (Zulu children’s song)
  • Meli E (John Bowker, inspired by and dedicated to the Baka and Mbuti people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo)
  • The High Desert Song (original Kaitie Ty Warren)
  • Go Singing (Sirenz)

Next week, Ben Kramarz joins us. Ben describes himself as “the Jewish Raffi” and I’ve seen it with my own eyes. He’s the author of A Guide to Songleading and Communal Singing and is deeply passionate about creating sustainable musical cultures. Growing up in the Camp Towanga culture (his dad was the Exec. Director) Ben’s tools include guitar, drums, and tons of energy! He’s fabulous with kids as well as adults. Check out his website at BenKramarz.com. We’ll see you next Thursday, June 13th, at 7pm! Grace Lutheran Church – 15 Santa Fe, El Cerrito CA. $30-20 sliding scale (no one turned away for lack of funds.) See our Schedule Page for all the details.

See you there!
